That's great to hear.I've been on DA now many of my pals like Pillow Tulip and Orchid the Hedgehog have moved on.I'll make the exception to come here for you and I may decide to start submitting again.Things on DA run a lot smoother than either here or Fan Art Central there's so much freedom there. If you ever want me to see your work you're welcome to e-mail it to me :) rmxisnuts@yahoo.com or rmx_anubis@yahoo.com
With pleasure! I have been busy of late but I promise I'll give your art a good long deserved look.I only had a quick glance but I was blown away by it!
Well the girl really loved her,but I can't see how she didn't catch on to her true sex at all(?!?).It happens that gender is something that takes a lifetime to master;our outward sex is there at birth, but gender is a whole different thing.
In a way she was.But being Lesbian or Homosexual doesn't mean they want to change their outward sex.A transvestite is what Teena was.In the A&E documentary she passed as a young man, even using a prostetic("fake")penis to have sex with her girlfriends(they believed he was a true born boy) and to urinate standing up(she wanted to be male that badly). She tried to commit suicide several times.Docters in the ER would tell her mom that Teena needed to undergo a sex change to keep her from being depressed(and to keep her from commiting suicide). Her mom would have none of it and the rest is history as they say. There is a good book on the subject of gender called"As Nature Made Him The Boy Who Grew Up As A Girl"in it its the other way around. The boy had a medical accident, but HE(David Reiman aka Bruce aka Brenda) is still around.
Thank you.I have never worn one but thats what I have to deal with every night I go to bed,odd nightmares of me in one(a pink one at that).I love your animated avatar don't ever change it. :)
Ok, I've been taught how to overcome the 'reply to' glitch. When you're in your picture and you want to see all the comments without having to wait for the 'see all comments' function to kick in, just type '_full' into the URL after the word 'pic'.
The 'see all comments' function only kicks in when you have over 10 comments on your picture.
Darn the glitch,AGAIN! Yes the cartoon.I haven't seen it in a long time because its off the air.Jupiter has no moons called Betelguese.Betelguese is a(very odd)redorange giant 450ly away in the constelation of Orion the Hunter. But Jupiter has four very large moons.
I know you gave another reply on my Beetlejuice picture, but because of the weird 'reply to' glitch, it's not letting me see it.
Could you maybe repeat what you said for me, please?
Yup them glitches.Yes the cartoon series, sadly I haven't seen the show in years 'cause its of the air.Beteleguese is redorange giant 450 lightyears away in the constellation of Orion.(and believe me or not this star creeps me out).Jupiter has four main stars Io,Europa,Ganymeade and Callisto plus some 20+ odd moons. But none are called Betelguese.Oh wow what an odd name!
I have not seen the movie but I saw a report of it on A&E.She was not pretending;it was her mind set of her gender.Today's way of treating gender roles is terrible. As a boy many things are labeled "GIRLS ONLY" and thus off limits. My drawings for example would not be expected from a 25yr old man/boy.In school I was afraid to draw for fear of being "unboy like".And yes I know girls have a tough time with gender roles too.
Did you come up with any ideas?Like I said use other characters from the Sonic universe.Take a look at Wikipedia for info on ALL of the Sonic characters.
Great to see you here, this site can be kind'a lonely most of the time;but thanks for fishing me out.You should check out QuanticChaos1000 he is a pretty cool guy with great Sonic pics.
Think of a wacom tablet as being a digital sketchpad. When you hook it up to your computer, whatever you draw on the tablet appears on the screen. Of course, nothing appears on the tablet itself (not on my one anyway) but the tablet comes with a special sensor pen that detects your drawing movements with it. The pen is also pressure sensitive like a real pen/pencil or brush. When you buy a wacom tablet, it usually comes with its own art package. Mines came with Corel Art, which is ok but I prefer to use Photoshop.
As for the price, it depends on what make of wacom tablet you want and what size. Mines is an 8 by 10 inch one and unfortunately I can't remember how much it cost. I'm over here in Britain, so it was something like £40 or £50. Like I said, it depends on the size and the make. You should be able to get one at any computer store in your area. If that doesn't work, then try the internet.
Some might be a little expensive, but if you want to broaden your artistic horizon then believe me, it's definitely worth every penny. It's so much easier than drawing with a mouse all the time :)
