There is a dutch song from Boudewijn de Groot called "Verdronken Vlinder" (Drowned Butterfly). It's a very sad song, and I based this picture of it. The lines next to the picture are some lines from the song. The translation of it is: "Diying like this on the water, with your wings made of paper."
...he does have arms, but his wings are in front of it.
