Danny: Val, baby, what's wrong?
Valerie: Nothing, it's just. . .
Danny: What?
Valerie: Your eyes.
Danny: (laughs) My eyes?
Valerie: Yeah. Have they always been green?
Danny: Uh. . .
Valerie: Nevermind, I'm sure it's just the lighting.
Danny: (sighs) Do you love me, Val?
Valerie: (smiles) Of course I do.
Danny: Even if I told you something about myself you didn't like?
Valerie: (frowns) What are you trying to tell me, Danny?
Danny: Val. . . I'm the one-
(Beeper goes off.)
Valerie: Hold that thought.
(She reaches for the beeper and as she does a soft blue breath escapes from Danny's lips.)
Valerie: I have to run. Can we pick this up later?
(She kisses him gently before rising out of bed. She then slips on her shoes before grabbing her bag that holds her ghost hunter gear and heads towards the door.)
Valerie: Love you, Danny.
(She closes the door behind her. Danny then rises from bed.)
Danny: I know. . .
(He sighs as he turns ghost and then intangable as he flys through the walls.)
Danny:. . . but for how long?
