Hoagie: Come on, Numbah Four, you got to laugh for me.
Wally: Laugh? Nothing about this situation is funny, Numbah Two.
Hoagie: You're wrong, because without laughter there's nothing. . . knock knock.
Wally: Numbah Two-
Hoagie: I said, knock, knock, dammit!
Wally: Who's there?
Hoagie: Oh no wait I have a better one. I think it should really be funny. . . since it'll be my last one.
Wally: Don't talk like that. Help is on the way.
Hoagie: I know you believe that.
Wally: Yeah, I do. So go on, tell me a joke while we wait.
Hoagie: Okay. A man is sitting at a bar, drinking beer after beer. . .
Wally's mind begin to wonder as Hoagie began his joke. It didn'tmatter what the punch line was, he was going to laugh regardless. Wallyknew help wouldn't make it in time to save Hoagie and he wanted to makesure, that the last thing he heard was the one thing that gave him thegreatest joy.
Hoagie: Hey Wally. *Grabs on to sweatshirt*
Wally: Yeah?
Hoagie: Your my bestest best friend, you know that, right?
Wally: Yeah, Hoagie, I know. . . |
