You probably won't know the Dizzy series of games unless you're from the UK or Europe, and also of a certain age, because we're talking about a series that pre-dates 16 bit consoles. It was a popular platform/puzzle/adventure game on 8 bit computers like the C64 and Sinclair Spectrum - I can think of at least 12 Dizzy games released on those machines. I won't go into great detail - other than to say that this is Dora, the sister of main character Dizzy, who is a walking talking egg, in case you were wondering. Her first appearance was in Magic Land Dizzy, which I believe was Dizzy-4. If you want to know any more about the series, you'll find plenty of good sites on Google. |
