Say hello to Prid! :)
This is a character I came up with for my Digital Animation class. During the first semester, we had to draw out a whole bunch of characters to consider animating in Maya (which must be the most EVIL CG animation package there is) and my final idea was Prid here. I was originally going to call him Peter, but during a conversation with my Dad one night, he told me about my great-uncle and that he had an African (or Rhodesian, he couldn't remember) friend whose name was Prid Dougal. I thought 'that's an interesting name', and that's how this little guy's name came to be :)
I'm not too sure what he is, though, or exactly how he came into being. He just sort of... wandered into my mind one day with a smile on his face. He's some sort of, fairy... goblin... thingy. Some folk thought he looked a cross between a Smurf and a Fraggle, so would that make him a... Smaggle? Frurf? The world may never know 0_o'
