Over the weekend, this "phoenix" plagued my dreams. At first I thought it was a phoenix, but then when I finally saw it, it looked deformed and this is the closest I actually got to drawing him. He was a lot more grotesque in my nightmare, but he wouldn't let me see him clearly. Although he divebombed me repeatedly, he never touched me, though I was sure he was trying to kill me.... The shadows kept playing over his feathers and tail, so it was really hard getting his anatomy right. That damn tail....so many feathers sticking out. |
