American Beaver Spirits by Blade

Description

Blade
The American Beaver Spirits are the guardians of the river. They can also be seen as Birch Sprites.
The female's name is Koko, Blackfoot for "Night"
The male (lighter one with headdress) is Yiska, Native American for "The Night has passed"

Both are vaguely based off the Native American Blackfoot tribe. It was the one tribe I could find with a legend about the Beaver. Their feathers are also vaguely baised off the same theme. Although, the Jay feathers are my own idea, as are the bead colors...I have a thing about Jay feathers.
I love Native American stuff, and am partialy Native American, so tada!

Beavers are my favorite animal. Kinda supriseing eah? So, I fugred it was about time I seriously drew some.
The fur was soooo hard and took sooo long, but I think it turned out all right in the end. It makes wolf fur seem like a joke.
Needless to say the scanner ate this. The colors near the two were originally in pencil, but the scanner made it look bad so I redid them in photoshop.
