This shows a what if scenario. What if Bastila went with Revan to fight the True Sith.
Bastila: “Take me with you my love.”
Revan: “Bastila… where I go… I might die… I probably will die fighting this threat… I don’t want you to die as well and it will tear me apart if that happens.”
Bastila: “Do you think I want you to die?! Do you think that with you leaving me is not tearing me apart?!”
Revan: “……… I’m leaving but I’m not leaving you as if I don’t love you anymore… no type of power that the Force possess or that of the Darkside possess will ever change… ever!”
Bastila: “Revan… if you die I want to be there with you so you don’t die alone… if I die I want my last moments to be with you… if we both die then we die together.”
Revan: “Bastila my love… here… your safe and-”
Bastila: “Revan… living a life… here… alone… without you… that’s worst than death… your love gives me strength and my love gives you strength… it’s what saved us both when we fought Malak. I ask you again to take me with you…”
Revan: “…Alright my love… alright.”
Bastila: “Kiss me………”
Revan takes Bastila into his arms and kisses her deeply.
A Note From The Artist: Very, very rarely does a video game story show and have two characters getting to know each other on the journey they take. The time span KOTOR-I shows Revan and Bastila getting to know each other seems to take place within weeks or a month or two. That may not be a 100% realistic but it’s better than just having them falling in love in a few seconds like what most video games do when they have a so-called romance story going on.
In KOTOR-II HK-47 tells the Exile that Revan and Bastila were often intimate in the cargo hold of the Ebon Hawk.
In KOTOR-II Bastila sends a message with T3, that if something happens too Revan it should come back to Republic space and seek her out or other Jedi for help. Bastila says she can’t lose him, even if he believes he is protecting her.
Revan sacrificing himself to save Bastila by fighting the True Sith by himself, and Bastila doing what she can to make sure that Revan is safe… too lovers looking out for each other… now that’s love.
Before Revan left or if Revan had stayed I see Revan and Bastila keeping their love a secret. The Jedi Order in there time didn’t allow such things as love or family. That was forbidden way before their time and it was still forbidden well past their time. Just because it’s Revan and Bastila doesn’t mean the Order would just simply look the other way. There had been some Jedi that were allowed… but I don’t see Revan being “Ok” with just him being able too when other Jedi could not. It wouldn’t be until Luke’s New Jedi Order (some 4,000 years later) that it was done away with.
Now Revan and Bastila would be able to keep there relationship a secret since there’s no way the Jedi Masters in the Order would be able to sense love from them since no one in the Jedi Order has ever been in love or knows what real love is or what it feels like. How can they sense something that they have forbidden themselves to feel all their lives???? I mean if some stupid punk like Anakin could do it… then so could Revan.
Revan and Bastila would also be able to be with each other since the Jedi Order of course knows of the Force Bond they have and knowing that they worked together throughout the whole event of KOTOR and that they both helped each other from the Dark Side… they would have to have them being together as Master and Apprentice.
One of the many flaws in the Star Wars Universe has it that if a Jedi simply gets angry they fall to the Darkside. And some of the fans themselves simply believe that and that love will have a Jedi fall to the dark side. They think it’s very easy to fall to the Darkside. Well I fail to see that.
The face I have for Revan is a face from the game. It’s the one with the long brown hair that’s combed back. It was the first face I chose and the face I always choose. You know it’s interesting that there are four concept art color sketches from KOTOR I that have a male Jedi in a brown tunic and a gray and black tunic with long brown hair that’s slicked-back like one of the male faces you choose in game. Now there is no other main Jedi or character in the game that looks like those sketches.
