Saerican Fresco by Stratadrake

Description

Stratadrake
Circa 2002, another class assignment, an experiment in a "fresco" media of dry pigment on a wet sand-lye mixture.

Good thing the teacher had the right pigments for the job!

A fun experiment, a fond memory . . . though I have yet to draw a 'Saeri' again. They're quite similar to the dracans, so if I ever did, a redesign would certainly be in order.

Approx. 5x6", fullviews at 75px/in.

Cool! If I were to upload any of my highschool art, it wouldn't fit in the scanner!

I know what you mean. My sketchbook doesn't (technically) fit in my scanner either, so I lately always end up scanning it in two halves and then stitching them back together on the computer. And with that said, I can scan as large as 11x14 using my 8x5.11x5 scanner.
