Part 2 of my inversion tutorial. Once you have a general idea of what the technique is, here is how it actually works: For every place in the piece which is supposed to be a light color, you need to shade it with heavy and dark colors instead; and vice versa, for every area on the piece that is supposed to be a dark color, leave it lightly shaded or plain white.
You have to be able to "think backwards" in order for this technique to work. Master that, and the remaining step (scanning and inverting) will require virtually no work at all. |
