Heh. I really like this picture. I originally started drawing it when I was about 12/13. The second my friend saw this, she demanded that I finish it. So I did. It's gift art for the wonderful Tacimur!
Here's the anectote that goes along with this *Warning: Very corny*
This piece depicts a lone Arcanine, who has recently lost her mate. She loved him dearly and the two Pokemon were inseparable. Now that he has left her, she feels very alone and doesn't know where to go for her mate was the one who was the more leaderlike of them. Now she must learn to be independent and to take more part in making decisions. I'll just leave the rest to your imaginations.
In my made-up world, spirits who show themselves to mortals are usually a gray color all over--except for their eyes. Their eyes are the only colorful thing that mortals can see. This is because the eyes show the true nature of the soul.(It's quite difficult for me to explain these things, I hopw that makd at least some sense)
